Materials
Needed (for three blocks):

1/8 yard each
of blue check, blue print, blue plaid, pink plaid, pink print and yellow
print
-
Three 4 1/4" x
4 1/4" hypo-allergenic foam cubes

Thread to
match
1) Cut six
3 1/2" squares each from the blue plaid, pink plaid and blue check
fabrics.
2) Cut
twelve 3" squares each from the blue, pink and yellow print fabrics.
Cut each of these squares in half diagonally.
3) Sew a
coordinating print triangle to each side of each square with 1/4" seams
and press the seams open.

Sew four of the pieced squares together to form a strip then bring the
edges of the first and last squares together and sew to form a loop.

5)
With right sides together, pin another square to one side of the loop and
stitch with a 1/4" seam to create the bottom of the block.
6)
Attach the final square to the block in the same fashion, stitching only
two adjoining sides closed at this time.
7)
Insert the foam block and whipstitch the last two sides closed.
